A lifelong interest in ritual and celebration led me to become a Deputy Marriage Commissioner at San Francisco City Hall in 2000. Under the historic rotunda. I performed weekly ceremonies for weddings and domestic unions. Prior to this time, I marked important passages in people’s lives as a photographer.

I am a certified Life-Cycle Celebrant and completed training with the Celebrant Foundation and Institute in Montclair, N.J. I hold a Master’s Degree from San Francisco State University and am legally certified to perform wedding ceremonies in California.
I am Wedding Ceremony Officiant in Oakland | California. I work in a relaxed, yet professional manner, with the humor and flexibility of a seasoned parent.
